The National Agricultural Students Organization is a student-led organization dedicated to uniting the agricultural youth of the nation on a common platform, with the goal of strengthening democracy and instilling a national vision. Our primary objective is to foster leadership qualities among young individuals in agriculture through collaborative efforts with farmers and the government, both of which play pivotal roles in nation-building.
Environmental preservation is of paramount importance to us. We prioritize initiatives such as tree planting and conduct various environmental awareness programs, engaging people, students, as well as experts in the agricultural industry and scientists. Additionally, we raise funds for the welfare of agricultural students and farmers, addressing pertinent issues. Furthermore, we provide support to both agricultural students and farmers, enabling them to voice their concerns for the betterment of the entire community.
During the challenging phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, we also played a vital role by distributing food supplies to students and farmers. NASO's mission is centered on the development of rural India, achieved by empowering farmers and agriculture students through skill enhancement programs like Kisan Putra Pathshala (where our Agricultural Scientists/Professors educate our Students/Youth/Farmers about upcoming technologies), Kisan Kalyan Manch, Rashtiyay Krishi Chhatra Sansad, Krishi Chatra, and Krishak Prasikshan Karyakarm. Each year, we nominate individuals for specific roles to serve the nation through our organization.In this era of climate change, our organization is dedicated to tirelessly harmonizing with nature, drawing on the experiences of farmers and the technical knowledge of students to envision a revolution in the agricultural sector - a sector that India has been known for since Independence.
